At our shop, for cards that exist in first edition (1st edition, hereafter labeled as '1ED'), we distinguish and sell only items whose product names are labeled with 'First edition', '1ED', or 'Reprint'.
For items without such labeling, we do not differentiate them based on the product image and sell them as the same product.
