At our shop, for cards that exist in First Edition (abbreviated as "1ED"), we distinguish and sell only items whose product name includes "First Edition", "1ED", or "Reprint".
Items that do not include any such designation are not distinguished by product image and are sold as the same product, regardless of the image.
